What a year! I would have never guessed 2020 could be such a roller coaster for our country, state, town and our lives. Between the Covid-19 virus, wildfires and politics, 2020 won’t be forgotten for a long time. However, WE WILL SURVIVE!
Our local real estate market hasn’t paid too much attention to the craziness of 2020. Record low interest rates below 3% have kept the market very active with the supply of available homes for sale also at all time lows. In fact, there are only 35 single family homes with a Kearney address currently on the market. The activity is reflected by the 71 single family homes currently under contract and waiting to close yet later this year. Definitely one of the most active markets I’ve experienced in my 25+ years as a local Realtor.
In this fall season, I’m wishing you and your family all the best as we take on all 2020 still has to throw at us. Kearney and the surrounding area is still a GREAT place to live, work and play.
